EHX@CES Succeeds in Serving Custom Electronics Professionals at 2010 International CESĀ®
Event Launch Receives Positive Response as it Looks Forward to New Location in South Hall in 2011
FRAMINGHAM, MA – JANUARY 22, 2010 – Electronic House Expo announced the successful debut of EHX@CES (www.ehxweb.com/ces2010), the exclusive destination for custom electronics professionals, at the 2010 International CES®, January 7-10 in Las Vegas.
Powered by CE Pro, EHX@CES featured 40 exhibiting companies dedicated to the needs of high-level CE professionals. These exhibitors showcased hundreds of new products catering specially to the custom electronics community.
“We are pleased by the positive response to the inaugural EHX@CES,” said Jim Wagner, General Manager of EH Events. "Over 43,000 of CES attendees registered to attend the EHX@CES Pavilion, and thousands came through during the event. Focused on products and services specifically for the B2B professional, EHX@CES filled a need to keep custom electronics integrators ahead of the curve when it comes to technology advancements and product developments."
Wagner continued, “This event accomplished the goals of EHX, CE Pro, and CEA by creating an area on the CES floor to better serve integrators and dealers. The response to the event was so strong that we have already made plans to expand the footprint of EHX@CES for the 2011 International CES®.”
EHX@CES participants were also invited to an attendee reception at the CE Pro Headquarters, the hub of exhibit area, for a meet-and-greet opportunity with industry-leading editors, writers, and analysts from CE Pro Magazine.
“Our goal is to give our attendees the tools they need to thrive in today’s market, and that involves more than just displaying a product,” said Wagner. “By offering networking opportunities with industry leaders, our attendees learned directly from the experts and their peers who are already implanting these new technologies. They walked away with proven know-how that will present them with more opportunities in the future.”
2010 EHX@CES participating companies included Active Thermal Management, ADI, Advanced Wire Group, Amulet Devices, Inc., Atlantic Technology, BES Manufacturing, Channel Vision, Chief, ekeyUSA Systems LLC, Fortress, HAI (Home Automation Inc.), Holovision, IC Realtime, Immodomo, Jamo, JSM Healthcare, Inc., Klipsch, Labor Saving Devices, Leviton Manufacturing, Middle Atlantic, Philips Pronto, Polar Shades, ProControls, PROTO-TEL, INC., Relidy, LLC, Russound, Sanus, Schneider Electric, Somfy Systems, StarDot Technologies, SUNBRITETV, Taiwan Electrets Electronics Co.LTD, Toshiba, Triplett, Ultralink, Universal Electronics, Inc., Volutone Distributing Co., Worthington Distribution, and Yamaha.
