Getting into Green Series: Understanding LEED and Green Building Certification programs:
The one sector of the residential building industry that is currently experiencing solid growth is the design and construction of environmentally conscious homes. Two national programs that certify a home’s true environmental impact are The US Green Building Council’s LEED Certification program and the National Association of Home Builders Green Building Certification.
This 1-hour course will cover the intricacies of the LEED certification program, the different levels of LEED certification and the role of the electronic systems contractor within the program.
